Special Skills: Trained as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, ability to drive; patient listening skills, love for the True Presence in the Eucharist.

Our parish family extends beyond the walls of our church and includes those who are unable to worship with us in church on Sunday. For reasons of health or mobility, some of our faith family can't always come to Mass, and so we bring them our Eucharistic Lord in Holy Communion. Homebound Ministers lovingly transport the Body of Christ to parishioner's homes when requested. Some visits are made by individual members of the ministry while at other times, several members may make visits together. Beyond Communion, these visits bring the gifts of friendship and fellowship to persons who may be experiencing illness, isolation or loneliness. Homebound Ministers represent us all as they share the love of Christ and remind our shu-ins that they are never forgotten by us.
